10. America’s Stonehenge

Throughout the area, one can discover some interesting tourist spots. This roadside oddity in Salem, New Hampshire consist of 30 acres of mineral structures and large rock arrangement that is claimed to go back 4000 years. While who make these structures and why stop a subject of debate, the region is said to be home to shape-shifting ghosts. Many claimed that various of the rocks in the area will transform into spirits of Native Americans and other people.

9. The Sterling Opera House

From music to speeches, the Silver Opera House in Derby, Connecticut hosted many class acts such as the likes of Bob Faith, Amelia Earhart, and Harry Houdini. Built in 1889, the building currently showcases an array of ghosts, with one ghost being an a young boy named Andy. These particular spirits like to move items, such as a ball, around the stage area. In 2011, the place was featured on the television show Ghost Hunters.

Cemeteries are required to be a hotbed of ghosts. Located in Hollis, New Hampshire, the cemetery’s name is Pine Hill. Many paranormal researchers have visited this place and have captured voices on recordings and new anomalies in pictures.

7. The Paine House

Colonial America survives well in England, together in terms of architecture and the lives that still roam. Built about 1740’s by Francis Brayton, the home is now a museum and traditional society in Coventry, Rhode Island. One of the most powerful spirits is that of a young girl. Investigations carried here have captured EVPs and strange occurrences on video, such as a rocking seat moving by itself.

6. Rutland Prison Camp

Abandon places can be offensive, and this old prison camp is no exception. It was established in 1903 but closed in 1934 with only a few structures still standing, like the root basement and solitary confinement. A nighttime stay here can be very spooky, filled with odd noises and shifting shadows. One ghost is said to be the wife of a former warden that is seen wandering near the ruins of the warden house.

Higher education can expand your mind, but to give you a fright. Vermont College of Fine Arts in Montpelier began as a seminary in 1831 since becoming a college in 1941. The most haunted place on campus is College Hall, which is said to be haunted by a girl who may have been killed there. She has a habit of playing the pipe organ in the chapel area.

4. The Captain Grant’s 1754

There are numerous haunted bed & breakfast establishments in the USA, and this one in Preston, Connecticut is no difference. Named after Captain William Grant, who existed here with his wife Mercy, the inn is said to have many spirits. The Adelaide room is considered to be the most active, with keys existing moved, and footsteps being heard. The place has been featured on the paranormal show, Psychic Kids.

3. Elder Ballou Cemetery

Located in Cumberland, Rhode Island, the tomb is one of the creepiest around with its crypts and old tombstones. Once back to a religious meeting house, the cemetery now the day has been heavily vandalized. However, all forms of paranormal action have been reported. Voices have been heard, darkness figures have been seen, and UFO’s have been reported in the nearby field.

Children have been seen running around, and furniture on the tops floors has moved. The activity has shifted so bad that the modern owners no great live there.

This house in Fall Creek, Massachusetts was the site of two cruel murders of Abby and Andrew Borden that fascinated the nation. Andrew’s daughter, Lizzie, was carried but later acquitted of the murders. Now, her house is a bed & breakfast and is New England’s most famous haunted spot. Guest have described seeing a woman standing at the edge of their bed, and others have been having touched. It has been starred on many TV shows and has become a must-see place for ghost seekers.
